Summer Camp FAQ

Where is drop-off & pick-up?
Campers will always be dropped off and picked up at Lively Hive.

Where can I park for drop-off & pick-up?
Parking is available in the public lot just a few steps away from our building. There are also street spots available. You can recieve 15 minutes of free parking at the kiosk. In addition, you can drop-off and pick-up right out front of the building!

What makes a Lively Hive Camp Leader special?
First, all of our camp leaders, instructors, volunteers, and general staff members have completed child abuse clearances and background checks. In addition, our staff members have completed our staff training that focuses on both safety and compassionate caring for all children.

What type of food is served at snack?
Daily snack includes a fruit, vegetable, salty snack (crackers or pretzels), and a protein (cheese or meat). We offer a sweet treat for the campers but these are limited.

How do you safely manage field trips?

Safety is always our top priority when caring for your children. All campers are required to hold onto a walking rope that has a camp leader on both the front, back, and side. We have daily talks with the campers with regard to listening,  following directions, and understanding when it is safe to cross the street. At our field trip locations campers are split into small groups and teamed up with a camp leader.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes! We offer payment plans only on our regular pricing.
Please reach out via email to setup a payment plan.

What if my child misses a day?
We do not offer refunds for summer camp, but reach out for a one time class credit.

Can my child with special needs attend?
In most cases, yes. Please be sure to notify us via email so we can make sure our Summer Camp is the right fit for your child.

How do you manage a clean space and reduce sharing germs?
All of our equipment and toys are regularly cleaned.
In addition, we sanitize all hands upon entry and exit of the snack room, after all offsite activities, and after every bathroom break.

What is Lunch Buddies?
Lunch Buddies is our extended care program that offers caregivers additional time each day. During this time campers will do special activities and games.  Lunch Buddies is "bring your own lunch".

Where are we going in 2025?
